Wow... sweetheart, I’m 21 and I don’t even watch MTV through a telescope. As for Nirvana, I’ve known them for at least ten years and I own their entire discography. I’ve listened to Nevermind over and over again and I still listen to it now because it’s a rock classic, and classics can say something different and yet valid forever at any moment. It seems clear that I didn’t compare Verdena to Nirvana... I simply highlighted the influence Nirvana had on Verdena, which seems pretty evident to me... as for your precious advice, these are albums I own but don’t find as fascinating or as indelible in the history of rock as any Nirvana album... as for the rest, think what you want... p.s.: how old are you instead???... you know, you really strike me as one of those people who go to great lengths to deny the importance of Nirvana at all costs just because they’re commercial... a juvenile attitude, undoubtedly...

Hey, listen... when I write reviews, I don't claim to hold the truth, so don't come to me saying that I'm not saying anything true, since I don't care about the truth; the review is just my interpretation of the album. As for the rest, it seems to me that I've maintained a consistent line both in the review and in the comments. Finally, if people are ignorant, the responsibility to educate them is certainly not mine... I just write reviews.

Listen Lovelorn, it seems to me that the review says it all. I don’t think I need to keep reiterating that HIM are not metal and not gothic, etc. I wrote that everything is surrounded by a gothic aura, which means they are not inherently gothic but use outwardly gothic symbolism. Then, if this review could mislead people about the genre of HIM... that’s their problem, not mine. After all, what I wrote is very clear... as they say, intelligentibus pauca.

Lovelorn...you look terrible. I study classical literature and I can assure you that I know enough about elegy. And don't apologize for the 1, it's totally fine...as for the fact that HIM are banal, predictable, and uninteresting from a musical standpoint, I completely agree, it seems to come through in the review. However, that doesn't take away from the fact that this genre, this particular band can have value and an appreciable compositional vein, even if, as someone wrote, just for casual listening...I listen to HIM, who are obviously not my favorites, and I don't think I'm an idiot, a tacky person...etc. As for the rest, if it brings you joy to take it out on HIM and those who listen to them, go ahead...thanks for the comment anyway.
