Umberto Eco Il Nome Della Rosa

Honestly, this is what I think about the people who glorify Eco and the many who praised him in the aforementioned review, perhaps without even having read him, just because it makes them seem 'cultured.' In any case, I didn’t mean to offend you or anyone else; I simply expressed my opinion, certainly outside the usual norms, just like seeking refuge under Love's wing, which is less reassuring than Eco's... As for the Arts, it’s quite clear that the difference is vast between writing a book and composing a song. Each art has its own expressive code... then it’s up to you.

the pleasure of reading entire pages in Latin just for the hell of it because it feels medieval, sure... anyway captain, avoid the dumb jokes, also because music is a different kind of expression compared to literature, and you're not any better because you read Eco while I’m worse for listening to Love... after all, why be surprised? it falls within the canon of the echista..you know

The downside of these films is that they legitimize and authorize the bleakness and emptiness of the new generations, almost justifying it all... and it's not cool at all, it's just tragic and disgusting.

Reading this book was a waste of time, stuff for faux cultured and faux refined people. It says nothing of substance, it leaves you with nothing. A mishmash of genres that appeal to the public with ramblings in Latin that don’t mean a damn thing... literature should serve a purpose, and this book serves none.

the film is nice and enjoyable, as long as it is taken with the right measures... as for the literary work, I haven't read it, but the fact that it diverges from the vampiric tradition is a completely negative point.... what I think is that the system tends to incorporate within itself, standardizing them, even figures symbolizing a deep diversity, like that of the vampire, turning it into an idol for teenagers... -edward, yes, fascinating...

a very captivating work, what can I say?... about the review, nice, but you could have done more... Stevenson deserves it.

It may be boring, but at the time it represented a revolution in the field of Italian Literature... this simplism on your part is truly absurd...
