no let there be rock: one judges the fact that you wrote a bunch of nonsense, providing data that no one gives a damn about and making learned analyses of a truly mediocre "musician."
The Strokes Is This It?

You really missed the mark, navarf: I reviewed the Beastie Boys, giving them 5 stars, and the Beasties were 3 middle-class Jewish New Yorkers, now filthy rich: but they’ve always made great music. The Strokes simply haven’t.

Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness

I have nothing against the Smashing Pumpkins; I mentioned songs like "Snail" and "Cherub Rock" because I really appreciated their first two albums, but the pompous and deflated turn in this album didn't appeal to me. That's all. Bye.

This review is basically meant to make you smile; I certainly don't take myself that seriously like many do here. Punisher, if I have to write a scathing review, I'd rather do it about a renowned artist, not certainly about Ramazzotti or Baglioni. For Fidia, it’s obvious you’ve only read the colorful phrases of this review. I clearly state why I don't like the music. If you like it, that’s great for you. About Morricone: he’s a genius; in fact, I can’t stand those who recycle him in such a tacky way. Bye!

The NIN were to industrial what Nirvana were to grunge-alternative: the band that brought to the surface that sonic magma that had formed in the preceding years. This was thanks to an extraordinary compositional ability that allowed them to break down the barriers of the mainstream while still crafting quality works. As with everything, opinions can diverge. Some believe these are commercial gimmicks and a simplification of truly innovative music, while others (like me) think that extracting beauty and melody from sounds that were at the time confined to basements is a great quality. Regarding Trent: he has always been a bit of a smart aleck; there’s no denying that (forced image of a great damned artist, a record recorded in the infamous Tate mansion, various connections with Manson), but one thing cannot be denied. Just like Cobain, he has always acknowledged the influence of those who came before him and the luck of fitting into their wake. In fact, he even went so far as to pay many of his inspirations by commissioning them remixes on Fixed.

Great job, we really needed this revival of one of the less-read pages from the 90s.
