Hey easy! As usual, excellent review! I used to listen to them back in the "valvonauta" days... maybe I also followed that story that you stop listening after 18! I also have their other albums, but I don't appreciate them that much... anyway, maybe I'll go see them around my area at the end of the month... I'll let you know! Bye!

Easy, often (not to say always) we find ourselves in agreement (see Strokes, FranzF, DreamTheater,...), but this time allow me to disagree with what you've written. I will never tell you that they are an original band, that they revolutionized a genre, or that they had enlightening ideas, but the justifications you use to express that you find them "useless," well, they don't convince me and they don't suit you! Let me give you an example: if you adored, I don't know, the punk of the Ramones or the SexP... and Mother Nature had gifted you with a voice very similar (but not =) to Johnny Rotten's, and you decided to create a punk band, would you be "useless"? And if then in your songs, you incorporated "reggae" accents, would you be "useless"??? Come on, if you really don't like them (and mind you, I listen to them, but I don't drool over Interpol), can you give us a better explanation (assuming you feel like it) for why you consider them "useless"!!! The fact that Banks' voice is similar to Curtis' and that their songs have "indie guitars" means absolutely nothing!!! Bye ;-)

I had to go see the "juliette..." in Florence on the 27th! Apparently, they are good live...

@blackdog: I said "avoidable," as I don't believe it aligns with the content of the music from Banks & co. You might like it, and I might not, but I didn't say it's terrible, disgusting, horrific... I just think it was "avoidable" = "better another one!" The one from "Antics" is probably even worse, not to mention the title (antics seems to mean "pranks!!!") and you would agree with me that the one from "Turn on the..." is on another level! Bye PS: I agree with waiting for the album release... but when does it come out?

the cover was definitely "avoidable"! the review was really enjoyable...but I still don't know the album...they are always a guarantee!

I recommend the greatest hits...really very, very enjoyable...! Then you can move on to the albums..."kick" and then this one...!
