Exactly! We got "Desecration Smile," which isn't that great, and its rhythm/flow is quite similar to the singles that came before it. I think the title track would have been a more fitting choice as well. @Boyintheocean: why do you say that the video for "Dani California" is pathetic? I don't know why, but it had the same effect on me too.

I wonder why they didn't choose "Hump De Bump" as a single; that's a great funk track.

Snowblind, are you really getting upset over jokes? Crap, you say you love this album so much, but with this review (review!??), you certainly haven't done it any great honor.

Be careful though, Zanna, because if Miles Davis grabs you, he won’t let go! I also started listening to him thinking “I'll stop when I want,” and instead it’s been over 7 years that I’ve been trapped in the tunnel :). Especially because he has a practically unlimited discography, with dozens of spectacular albums. Besides the historic ones they’ve already mentioned, I also recommend "Relaxin With Miles Davis Quintet" (1956), which is pretty easy-going.

No, sorry, I'm always talking about their debut, which is actually "Still Cyco..." except that in the new version there's also that song, originally on "Join The Army" and not on the self-titled one (well, you got it). "Join The Army" is indeed far from a masterpiece, poorly produced by the way.

Shall we talk about the beginning of "War Inside My Head"? But that album is an entire masterpiece.

@Peggiopunx: I really like their self-titled one as well, but the re-recorded version from '93 (Still Cyco... After All These Years) is cleaner and less hardcore, it’s true, but it sounds way better!
