At least Silverchair hit the mark with a few songs by mistake; for example, on the subsequent "Neon Ballroom," the Bush were pathetic in every way, and as you say, the singer trying to play the "beautiful and damned" was unbearable to watch!

So, so... 1) MP3 players don’t come in 516 megabytes, but rather 512 megabytes. 2) "Lie To Me" is not just a copy, but almost a plagiarism of "Tourette's" (even the strumming of the four chords are practically the same), and not of "Territorial Pissings." 3) The CD is from 1997, not 1996. That said, I would also add the pathetic similarity between the title "Abuse Me" and the certain "Rape Me" by the usual Cobain... scandalous. On the other hand, you pull out interesting CDs, even just to review, like this one.
