Beautiful but soulless.

The 5 is for their self-titled album, this one is slightly below it, but it’s still a great record that deserves listening to even from those who don't listen to prog, like me.
John Frusciante Smile From The Streets You Hold
Voto:
I never really liked Frusciante's "desperate" phase, and in fact, I don't find the previous "Niandra Lades.." to be the half masterpiece that some claim, even if some insights in these two albums are truly spectacular. Of his solo career, my absolute favorite remains "To Record Only Water..."..the album of redemption.

You should see how cheesy I look when I cruise around Corso Matteotti in my A112 Abarth with this CD and "Stiff Upper Lip" by AC/DC blasting at full volume... I'm too cool.

The Rolling Stones Their Satanic Majesties Request

In fact, the record is from '64, and the song recorded with the Beatles "We Love You" pairs perfectly with the record; it also has a psychedelic touch. It's a shame it was only released as a single.
