I'm not so sure that Rancid is better than NOFX, because the value of a band isn't judged by how "bad" they are (for Dark Kingdom). And don't come telling me that NOFX aren't good just because they use little trumpets and do nursery rhyme-style parts, because punk is also often about fun and playful joking around. So anyone who says NOFX isn't a serious band with balls is mistaken (not for nothing it's said by someone named Dark Kingdom, who recommends bands like Mayhem and Darkthrone... but what do they have to do with what we were talking about?)

Maybe the punk trick of a band invented from scratch like the Sex Pistols, for me punk is fast, angry, and carefree music that, if it can also propose something interesting, is even better. Example: the decline by NOFX is an 18-minute piece and it's pure punk... it’s called Innovation, let's break stuff... innovation! And back in the 70s, punk was out of tune and forgotten, now punk has learned to sell (just look at Rancid) or it has found its guts, artistically speaking (look at NOFX).

In my humble opinion, NOFX is worth 12,000 times more than Rancid, in terms of creativity, consistency, and, why not, even fun. However, I personally love them too much, so I might be biased, but I repeat, I say that NOFX shit on Ranshit.
