qzerty, after the apres la class in bitritto this summer, quite a while ago. and anyway I also met the drummer luca giura, and he's a cool guy but their genre just doesn't suit me and live they give me negramaro vibes, trying to be intellectuals.

Does the cover pay homage to Blood Sugar Sex Magik, by any chance?

I saw them live, they're from my area (province of Bari). If the album is as you say, they're definitely better in the studio than live.

A sincere comment arises from my heart: but fuck off!
Mastodon Blood Mountain
Voto:
For the record, the Mastodon will be supporting Tool on their Italian dates in November: Rimini, Jesolo, and I don’t know where else. I’m heading to Rimini on November 15th and giving Brann Dailor a hug from you. Anyway, this album is fantastic, better than Leviathan, but worse than Remission; Capillarian Crest is definitely one of the most beautiful songs written this year, and I won't exaggerate.
...And You Will Know Us by the Trail Of Dead So Divided
Voto:
Yeah, whatever. This album is going to be crap since you're all in agreement, but source tags and codes was fantastic. Number nine, monsoon was incredible and I will continue to love them just the same for that album. pray to god but I doubt that he's listening, this world is a gutter that he likes to piss in.
Pearl Jam Live In Verona 16-09-2006

Anyway, the song is called "elderly woman behind the counter in a small town," maybe you’ve heard the cover band of Pearl Jam from Ciricello Balsamo... and I agree with what Punisher said.

the girl who sings daydream is d'arcy, the bassist of the smashing. and this album is amazing, it didn't deserve to be treated like this. go play on the tracks of the closed level crossings.
Soundgarden Screaming Life/Fopp

Grunge never existed; it's just a media invention. Anyway, this album is incredibly beautiful for a debut. Nothing to Say is spine-tingling—damn, having that voice at twenty!
