What the fuck!!! I was also at Kill the Vultures!!! But you’re always in front!!! ..:-)... Anyway, they’re really nice, just two of them with a drum machine and an MC, they really know how to engage you. Savage Republic does a kind of new wave, I don’t like them much but hey, it’s free... okay, for the meeting, come here Tuesday and I’ll tell you what band’s t-shirt I’ll be wearing.

I had imagined you would be there, since it works like this: at every concert in the area that I go to, I later find out that you were there too. See you Tuesday at the Bohemien for the Savage Republic ...

Great debate and I'm glad it started with my review, thanks to geek the boy for the clarifications. The only consideration I would like to make is: I appreciated this film but I also said it has its limits, which I discussed in the review. But to say that von Trier is a loser and that his films are worthless is a different story... there are worse films out there. Von Trier is von Trier, he may not be to everyone's taste, but he's not Vanzina. Everyone has their own tastes, naturally, but this film, in my opinion, does not deserve a low rating, even though I acknowledge it has a lot of flaws (excessive and self-indulgent redundancy, lifeless cinematic technique, thus lacking real passion, a plot aimed at the practical purpose of making the average viewer cry, etc., etc.). However, it remains a film worthy of being seen by those who love cinema.

ajeje... a pointless and completely unnecessary clarification from a fan of this movie... they spit in the beer, not in the coffee, and he even spits in it before drinking.

I honestly don't give a damn about what the critics say (except for that film critic who always wears a white scarf, he's great), for the rest, if they all died it wouldn't change my life. However, this film, masterpiece or not, is beautiful, and we don't need to listen to nonsense, especially considering the average films we are used to. This one might be liked or not, given its intended and self-satisfied cerebralism, but it's a notch above all and there’s no doubt about it.

this film leaves all possibilities open, it could have been him, it could have been teddy, he could have killed the killer, he might not have killed the killer, he could have wandered around for years killing every jhon g he encountered, he could be sammy jenkins, he might not be sammy jenkins... everything is meticulously crafted so that you reach the end and still don’t have the answers.. this is where the genius of the film lies
