because I wrote this when there were no movie reviews on debaser and therefore it was not published, then I sent it again when they started being made. selmasongs isn't much compared to other works, it's true, but there's that masterpiece of the duet with thom york that is spectacular while in the film it is sung by the actor and doesn't come across as well as on the album.

No, I wasn't saying that I don’t like "In the Fade"... just that it's a song they almost never play. Just to emphasize that they've put together a setlist full of songs that are rare to hear live... "In the Fade" is amazing... but I think it's better sung by Lanegan.

mental saw of the grotesque (and also SPOILER!!!): in my opinion, the kidnapping is staged by the son together with the Morante and the communist priest; they are all potential terrorists based on how they are presented, and at the beginning of the film, we see Ugo's son's car surpassing the car of his "kidnappers." Additionally, Tognazzi's son at the end of the film gives his father a look that is just too cocky, so he can't just be a victim; someone with that cocky look definitely has his own dealings...

I saw Josh flailing around like a madman while people watched, wondering who that exhausted person was.. in my opinion, he was simply having an off night... and I really feel bad because the Cozza usually have very few off nights live... damn, right when I take an 8-hour train ride to see them!!!!
