the most despicable and useless quintessence of national-populism... exaggerated as usual! this is De Sica and Boldi you’re talking about; their films teach the young to despise and to consider women as sexual objects, to chase after success, money, and false myths and ideals. these Trinity films are harmless parodies that don’t hurt anyone.

Come on Poletti, you wouldn't really compare the harmless and good-natured Trinità with national-popular garbage like Neri Parenti and Vanzina? These aren't national-popular, they're farces and we need to take them for what they are. At least they had good intentions, unlike the crap from Boldi and De Sica.
Carlo Verdone Viaggi Di Nozze

I like Verdone when he does things like Io e mia sorella, Al lupo al lupo, etc. not this crap. He says that this crap is what he needs to make money to produce more serious films like Iris Blonde and the ones mentioned above. Good for him...

Yes, I have always liked it, in its dark and catacomb-like essence, this album is much angrier than Closer by Joy Division, which I find more oppressive and depressed.

The story of Jesus and Mary Magdalene seems to have been discovered by Dan Brown later on. A copier of other people's ideas and a clever one.

one of the ugliest films I have seen in recent times as well as one of the worst books I have read in my life.
Giuseppe Tornatore La Leggenda Del Pianista Sull'Oceano

I admit, Fusillo, that this film has some superfluous and smoothly packaged lengths, as is the case with almost the entire film. But I watched it from a different perspective than yours, probably. I didn't dwell on the plausibility and the real value of the author of the novel or story, namely Baricco, of whom I have read nothing. I took it for what it is, a little fairy tale, a legend indeed. I was captivated by the bizarre character of Novecento, his unusual situation, and I was enchanted by the ship, of course, because I love stories set on ships, and especially by the music, which in a movie is always well received by me. The film is not a masterpiece, but its length didn't weigh on me too much, and that means something to me. Regarding Tornatore in general, I appreciate him to a much lesser extent compared to the general public opinion, meaning he is an honest and sensitive worker who could do more and avoid falling into the ridiculous with missteps like Malena, which I would rate a 1 (but I can imagine a 10 for Bellucci :-) ). I appreciated "Una pura formalità," which, from what I hear around, is a film that people either love or hate. I watched "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" a long time ago and can't really comment on that. Bye, Fusillo, happy Easter to you and everyone present.

I'm sorry, foreveryoung, but I believe that to bring out the sharpness of the debaseriani, there's no need for certain pathetic characters with obvious existential problems, and to revitalize this site, they don’t help; rather, they tend to drive people away, as you'll see in the farewell letter on the homepage from the mysterious debaseriano. I think that to draw out the wit and invigorate this site, we need reviewers like grasshopper, just to name one example, but there are many others, like bartleboom, pretazzo, fidia, donjunio, dantecruciani, and others I obviously can't name all right now. We need them and their reviews now more than ever! Sorry for the comment that’s not quite in line with the review.
