believe me, Fripp, Brain Salad Surgery, and Trilogy are better than Tarkus. Anyway, if you don’t like them, that’s another story. I took the liberty of giving some advice, but I see you don’t need it. I really like Soft Machine.

x mah. It's true that sometimes it's fun to read about certain things, even very amusing reviews like those of el minchia. lamia didn't mean to be a criticism; I certainly don't want to dictate what should be featured on debaser, I just wanted to say that certain stuff already gets enough undeserved publicity on regular mainstream media and websites, that’s all. Maybe it would also be fair to use this site to give space to more deserving things, of any musical genre. I'm not a snob who hates commercial pop at all costs, don't misunderstand me, for example, I like Madonna.

Your review is well done and everything you say is absolutely true, but you've discovered hot water. If you really expect anything more from this low-grade stuff, then you're in trouble. You shouldn't have even considered this crap; I don't know what your musical tastes are, but regardless of that, I suggest you ignore this rubbish and focus on things that deserve to be highlighted. These pre-packaged teen idols are just clever marketing operations, sometimes done with good taste, sometimes less so, as in this case or with Paris Hilton, the ambassador of "nothing" (read review of el minchia). For the record, their lesbianism is just a marketing ploy by the manager, just like their kiss at Sanremo (eh, what wouldn’t they do for the "non plus ultra" of Italian music?). By all means, you are free to write about whatever you like, but you're talented, and your efforts deserve to be rewarded in far more worthy places.

Anyway, "nude" has some remarkable evocative moments even though, I repeat, they have never completely won my heart.

please. yes, in fact the Camel are not really highly regarded in the prog scene. perhaps their sound is not emotionally engaging enough or they lack that unmistakable prog imprint that bands like Yes or Genesis have. well, mysteries of music.
The Beatles Rubber Soul

I agree with the reviewer, even if he is a bit too harsh. Rubber Soul is still immature compared to Revolver, which is also a "transitional" album but much bolder (see Tomorrow Never Knows). There are still some banal and harmless melodies, but I can't criticize a few tracks like If I Needed Someone, The Word, and the beautiful Norwegian Wood. And it’s true, the Beatles didn’t invent anything. They first copied from traditional American rock, then took advantage of the psychedelic moment, but nothing more. In fact, they became worn out in '69 (isn't Let It Be posthumous to the Beatles' breakup?) because progressive rock was on the horizon, and I'm sorry to say, they wouldn't have been up to the task.

Poletti Encyclopedia, who knows, you might be right, it could be a stroke of genius, given the reviewer's premises.

Ah, I got it, Tom, thanks. Anyway, I'm curious to hear it because there are gorgeous songs like "While My Guitar...," "I Want You," and "Strawberry Fields Forever," and if what Sterbus claims is true, they must be a real blast!!
