In many ways, I can't argue with you; Nirvana were certainly not geniuses and they are repetitive. Their biggest success, Nevermind, is an overrated album, and their music is elementary. However, I find this review too sour and angry, and, in my opinion, "In Utero" doesn't deserve that. "Every band that moves to a major label dilutes its disacrating power as it is forced by the label itself to churn out more marketable, sellable products. It's not inherently good or bad; it's reality. It's bad for art with a capital A and good for the wallet of those who sign with the five corporations." ... well, you haven't exactly discovered something new.

Okay Fidia, you're right :-). I'm sorry, but I didn't mean to provoke anyone; it's probably just me who always ends up in the reviews of mariaelena where a fair number of people give her 1 and criticize her rather harshly. And I don't think mariaelena needs any defense lawyers :-)))
