It's not about determining whether Gabriel or Collins is better; that's a nonsensical discussion. The fact that Genesis has regressed to a commercial pop that isn't even that remarkable has nothing to do with Gabriel and his talent, at least for me. When Gabriel was there, it was simply a different time, and the music was different. If you come to tell me that for you the pop of Genesis in the 80s is better, I disagree. I'm sorry, but I've bought and listened to them: Abacab, Invisible Touch, Three Sides Live, Genesis, etc. The only one I don't have is Calling All Stations, but I’ve listened to it, I assure you. They did well to change genres, of course, but they could have done it with more dignity.

I don't understand your speech, London, who are you referring to? I listened to Genesis back in the day, I had their records and I still think about it like I did then, they have fallen low. Period. I had all their records, you understand??? So I think and thought back then with my own mind. Let that be clear.
