Many people recommended it to me. I got it on DVD, and when I find the time to watch it, I’ll review it.

Fates Warning Inside Out

Another piece that didn't fully convince me, even though it's catchy and played impeccably. 7
Fates Warning Parallels
Voto:
Up to this point in their career, "Parallels" is the CD I prefer, more than PS. I find it catchier and more accessible, but not therefore simplistic. Everything is perfectly integrated, and Alder's voice along with Matheos's guitar makes all the difference. 8
Fates Warning Perfect Symmetry
Voto:
Great album, even though it has never fully convinced me: some vocal lines don’t drive me crazy, but from a purely instrumental standpoint, we are at very high levels. 7.5
Paul Thomas Anderson The Master
Voto:
I understand when people are disappointed by a movie, perhaps because they expected something entirely different, but I also get really annoyed by those who come to the cinema "just for the hell of it," entering a theater only to have an "alternative" evening and say "I went to the movies" without even knowing what they are going to see. I remember 15-year-olds with acne who laughed at "The Tree of Life," only to be sound asleep by the second shot, but there are also 50-year-olds who often jump into a movie without knowing what they've spent their money on. Maybe I'm the odd one for picking 5 movies a year and knowing what to expect. The review is well-written, and the opinion could definitely be shared. The film is one I would like to see, but precisely because of what you wrote, I can’t find anyone crazy enough to be my companion. I'll let you know my thoughts in some time.
Fates Warning Awaken The Guardian

There’s some really great musical work underneath, but I HATE Jon Arch’s voice and his unsustainable vocal lines. I think he ruins what would otherwise be a very good piece of work. I can’t stand this CD. 4.5
Fates Warning The Spectre Within
Voto:
Compared to the first album, only the production has improved for me. The record doesn't excite me, and apart from "The apparition" and the epic nature of the closing track "Epitaph," I really can't make myself like it. Arch has a tremendously "intrusive" voice, which in my humble opinion "ruins" many good things put together by Matheos. 6
Fates Warning Night on Bröcken
Voto:
I never gave Fates Warning the recognition they deserve, but I finally decided to revisit their discography from the beginning. This NOB might be a work that is still a bit immature, although there are several interesting tracks, mainly due to Matheos's guitar work. Arch's vocals don't really excite me, perhaps negatively influencing my final judgment of the album. 7
