In fact, the ending seems a bit predictable, but in my view, it fits perfectly.
Darren Aronofsky Il Cigno Nero
Voto:
Those two are incredibly cool. Aronofsky has proven, aside from The Tree of Life, to be one of the best emerging directors and gives hope for the future. His films are uncomfortable, even "strange" in some ways. The delusion theorem, Requiem for a Dream, and The Wrestler remain masterpieces to me (The Wrestler slightly inferior to the other two). That said, I haven’t had the fortune to see Black Swan yet...

@michoos I haven't listened to the last one yet. When I do, I'll also check out your review.
Monster Magnet God Says No

@Nes indeed, at the beginning of the review, I pointed out that not knowing the band's early work, this "God says no" didn't seem that bad to me. It's an album you can listen to without expecting much. In fact, I then delved deeper into their beginnings, and this is absolutely nothing in comparison.

Cesare Pavese La Spiaggia
Voto:
@nico63 thank you for your comments. I love Pavese and Fenoglio; they represent the geographical truth put into literature, with suffering. Together with Primo Levi, they have written unforgettable stories of Italian literature, all coming from Piedmont...good times...

@ligdjs besides the two by Pavese that you already mentioned, I also read this one: La spiaggia and Paesi tuoi. I recommend both before delving deeper into his work.

@john yes, I actually forgot about them. I am deepening my knowledge of them anyway.
