Honestly, I appreciated "Once sent from the golden hall" more. I don't find particular compositional urgency in this one, but rather a bit too much sonic chaos at times. You can tell that it hasn't reached full maturity yet. However, the powerful Metalwrath and the beautiful (for me, the best on the album) Legend of a banished man are definitely worth mentioning.

An absolute masterpiece by one of the most important living authors. It will become a true cult name in the years to come, I am sure of it. The book is an extraordinary journey into the lives of two people at the edge of the world. An existence marked by man, because clearly the catastrophe that has thrown the world into chaos is linked to some upheaval closely tied to human choices. A man who is transfigured into an animal in the frantic search for food, yet despite the brutality of some pages, remains anchored to important values. Some excerpts are so moving and profound that one should pause to reflect and savor every single word to the fullest.

I don't particularly love the genre, except for the legendary figure, the only worthy heir to Odin, Thomas Forsberg, aka Quorthon. However, due to the countless judgments I've heard about them, I've finally decided to start listening to their discography. This OSFTGH is an album that pleasantly surprised me: I'm not very accustomed to these sounds, but both the epic/melodic bursts at certain moments and their good attitude with the instruments positively engaged me. I will also delve into the subsequent ones. Regards.
