This is the third album by Anthrax and not the second; moreover, it was released in 1987 and not in '86. So these are silly mistakes that you could have easily avoided. The album is among the band's top three, the most interesting and, in my opinion, the most successful. You can still hear the influence of albums like Master of Puppets and Reign in Blood. 4.5 rounded up to 5.

Emperor of the void, Of stars and smoke, Demonia 6, Clearsight, Embracing the Styx: discone, no bullshit. An insane Lowe (but then again, who would have imagined it if they had listened to Solitude...) and martial rhythms, powerful and with a sonic density that is disarming. Beasts!!

In the meantime, I'm dusting off Oblivion, then I'll move on to this one as well. From what I've seen from some friends, it seems to me like a really badass game, but we'll see more later.
