Ok, if this is black metal, someone who plays it can also come to your house and massacre everyone... after all, it's black metal...

Following this escape, the Norwegian Parliament has re-evaluated the law regarding benefits for inmates in minimum-security prisons, and the opportunity to release prisoners as the end of their sentence approaches. The list of those who want Burzum dead is growing: first the fans of Mayhem, then the lovers of Christ, and now the advocates for benefits in minimum-security prisons.
This gesture has cost Burzum an additional 4 years in prison and the revocation of the benefits earned up to that point. He will continue to greet fans who write to him in prison with his usual "Vaffanculo! Fate la guerra, non l'amore!".
2004:
Gaahl is convicted again for assaulting a 41-year-old, beating him, and drinking his blood. In defense of her son, the mother states: “My son is a vegetarian and very picky about food. He absolutely does not eat offal. That's why I don’t believe at all what has been said.”
September 6, 2004: Jon Nodveidt is released, but already during his time in prison, he had organized the band for his release. Just over a month later, the “Rebirth of Dissection Tour” began.

October 26, 2003: Burzum manages to escape from the minimum-security Berg prison in Tønsberg (a kind of boarding house where the gate isn't even locked), where he had been transferred a few months earlier. He steals a car from a family who, not knowing him, stopped to offer him a ride, under the threat of a gun. Initially, he thinks about crossing the border into Sweden, but after a phone call with his mother, he changes his mind. He is arrested after about 24 hours. Shortly thereafter, a Norwegian newspaper claims that the police found a bulletproof vest in the BMW used before stealing the family's car and that a rifle was discovered in a cabin in Rollag, which the musician admitted to having hit during his escape.
Why escape from a prison where one enjoys full freedom with only two years left until release? The answer comes from a letter Varg sent to his mother shortly before the escape, expressing the discomfort he experienced in prison following a newspaper article (that emphasized the danger posed by the inmate, retracing his "deeds" and criticizing his transfer to a minimum-security prison), which culminated in an attempted strangulation by another inmate and a continuous state of life-threatening danger.

July 1997: Jon Nodveidt (leader of the Swedish band Dissection) and his friend Vlad, while returning home under the influence of amphetamines, paralyze and kill a Moroccan homosexual. A few days later, the ex-partner of the victim is accused of the murder.
December 1997: Vlad is arrested for the murder after the confession of the girl to whom he had recounted the incident. After being beaten, she rushed to the police to report him for both crimes.
July 1998: Both are sentenced to 10 years in prison; Vlad receives a reduced sentence for being under 21, and Jon for complicity in murder.
