I apologize to everyone. Indeed, "The threshingfloor" is from 2010, but I don’t know why I remembered it as being from 2009. So sorry and thank you all for the comments.

Abel Ferrara The Bad Lieutenant (Il Cattivo Tenente)
Voto:
I finally managed to see it. What can I say: it’s a really great film, but just like "King of New York" by the same Ferrara, it left me with a vague sense of incompleteness, as if something was missing to make it a masterpiece. Keitel is extraordinary, the cinematography as well (continuing in the vein of the aforementioned "King..."), yet the narrative of the film is too "fragmented" for the film to flow smoothly. It remains a raw movie, visually violent, with suffocating realism, well framed by Ferrara's dry direction, which leaves nothing for the viewer. A work to see and rediscover, but as I said, it doesn’t manage to assert itself in a completely convincing way for me. 7.5/10

I have never been able to love him beyond a meager sufficiency...
Steve Harris British Lion
Voto:
I listened to it distractedly just once, so I won’t judge. It doesn’t seem to me to be the great crap that many say, nor a masterpiece. There’s something interesting, and I like how Harris is trying to reinvent himself at almost 60. His bass is always a wonder, the singer's voice a bit less so, but the tracks in the second half of the album are definitely sung better. I mean, there’s potential, but it needs work. I’ll give it a more attentive listen and come back to rate it.

I quote the first comment...
David Fincher The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Voto:
Beyond personal opinions on the necessity of a remake, Fincher's film works, and it works very well. It should be watched just for the dark, leaden, and oppressive atmosphere that permeates the entire duration of the film: moreover, I believe that Fincher is a master at creating suspense, and all the minutes leading up to the confrontation between Craig and the "supposed" killer are his manifesto. A film that manages to capture the viewer's attention to the maximum, despite a pace that is not exactly that of an action movie. Only great directors can achieve this. Rooney Mara is Oscar-worthy and incredibly sensual even in her "unconventional" role.
Testament Dark Roots Of Earth

Nice, but I expected more. A few interesting tracks, but the rest is the usual thrash, just more melodic by Testament's standards.
Michel Gondry Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (Se mi lasci ti cancello)

Good movie, but I still haven't been able to understand why so many classify it as a masterpiece...

Beautiful, for me the best they've made. In my review, I couldn't say five, here I round up.
