Ahuahau Joan, I agree :) But I can't blame poor Follini. In Middle Italy, he was practically alone, and loneliness these days is a terrible thing. However, the idea of going back to the UDC would have made him lose credibility (something he has shown to care about a lot :P) so he thought: “oh, if they made Mastella a Minister, there must be something for me...”

Politics aside, the controversy was not out of place: the reliability of the Sanremo ranking (in general) is quite questionable (just like the credibility of the festival itself), and then they have in the quality jury Alba Parietti (who feels she might die if she doesn't mention the partisans' story at least once in every show), Barbara Palombelli, and Maestro Do Nascimento; people who are not yet universally considered institutions in the field of music criticism or competence.
