Thank you, Target! It's true, and it's a shame because among the British indie groups they were among the ones that intrigued me the most. @tomgil: regarding the evolutions, you're preaching to the choir; the problem is that I didn't find them in this album. As Target says, it's a semi-damning review (after all, I didn't give it a 1) because, taken out of context, some songs wouldn’t be bad (others I found boring). Ciaoooo

The first word that appears on this page is Editors, the last one is (Angelina) Jolie. How is this possible? :)

No, in fact, with the example of Andy Warhol (who apparently understood everything about our fetishistic inclination) you were very clear. From this perspective, "devouring" an artist is a morbid aspect that concerns me as well. However, I still wouldn’t be able to endure 20 Joy Division albums, but perhaps this is simply because you are much more of a fan than I am (and I, more than a fan, am a moderate admirer) :)

Wow guys, I’m moved :'( A heartfelt thank you to everyone :D
@mien_mo_man: I understand your reasoning, but I believe that in certain cases it’s better to keep events as they occurred, even if they are sad. Missteps always need to be taken into account; perhaps some other album by Joy Division could have toned down the emphasis with which we’ve delivered them to the History of music. The brevity and intensity of their journey, however, remains the undeniable mark of their greatness. (For the record: that they contributed to history is objective, then the rest is a matter of taste, of course). Hi to todossss

"music"... here we run the risk of entering a more complex discussion and I have to leave soon :) Let’s just say that I don't like to generalize by unequivocally labeling everything I don't like as crap. But long live the Queen, damn it!

But the Queen weren't hair metal idiots. Oh dear, I can even understand that "idiots" is a colorful way to express discontent, but hair metal is just not it! :) Not even the Guns were strictly hair metal, even though they were filthy, wild, and scruffy long-haired (speaking as a fan)!

Ahauhahau, yes ZannaB. It looks like he has a messed-up wall instead of a face. If he laughs, some debris falls from his dimples! :)

You know, in a review I was torn apart because I spoke badly about Motörhead, who made history. And who cares? :D

The review made me smile, but Keith Richards makes me laugh out loud just by looking at him; 80 years per leg, earthquake cracks instead of wrinkles, but still with that look of a nonchalant stoner :)
