Alice in Chains Jar of Flies

Wow, can you imagine if the lyrics of Pollon were set to the music of Nutshell or Rooster? :D

So, Donju, to start off, Cagliari will be relegated :) That said, I acknowledge that I haven't been a big fan of Nirvana, and I take responsibility for any nonsense/viewpoints I may bring to your attention. However, I don't want to diminish their historical significance, and I admit that In Utero is an album I still enjoy listening to. In this regard, I indeed think that if generations of 14-year-olds have decided to pick up a guitar without worrying about taking lessons, they have, in part, Cobain to thank for that. But I really can't see him stepping away from his cliché. Nobody can say for sure, but personally, I can't picture him doing something "different." And frankly, those acoustic covers don't strike me as particularly bold experimentation; it doesn’t take much genius. Perhaps Paul Anka was bolder covering Smells Like.. or Black Hole Sun in a swing style :D Getting back to the comparison with AIC, despite the technical differences between the musicians, the latter have always moved me more. PS: Donju, before mentioning the Manics and especially Richey Edwards, please clean your fingertips carefully hihihi.

About unplugged, am I the only one who prefers the Alice In Chains version 10,000 times more than the Nirvana one? As for "Jar Of Flies," it's my favorite by AIC, and I believe it's one of the best grunge albums. Grunge, oh what a big word... let's say, then, one of the best albums by those bands from that period... "Whale & Wasp" is an entirely acoustic piece. Not exactly... maybe you meant "entirely instrumental" :) Still, it’s one of my favorite instrumental tracks. A negligible sap? I don't agree :(

I don't satisfy you. I don't give in to your masochism because I'm sadistic to the point of being awful!
Brian May Back To The Light

As a guitarist, he is one of my legends, and I don't mind him as a singer either. The album, however, is not exceptional.

Ahahah okay, I got it. It's just that I'm used to seeing 3 stars as a middle ground (more than sufficient-fair) :)
Nirvana Nevermind

Is Nevermind the masterpiece of Nirvana? Is it their most commercial album? Is it grunge? Are Nirvana grunge? What is grunge? To these questions, which still haunt humanity today, we will attempt to provide an answer in the next episode of Quark. ENOUGH!!!!

I really liked Stone, Daisy Lane, and I Could Lose Ya, and overall I definitely find it superior to LSVO? and You Gotta Go There To Come Back. In fact, It Means Nothing is almost a plagiarism of Hurry Up And Wait. I just don't understand why, like you did with the Foo Fighters, you talk about "great" albums and then give it 3 stars :D

From the way you talk about it, it seems you pointed to the wrong stars :) However, you managed to spark my curiosity where some random and uninterested readings about this album had left me indifferent (like the latest productions by FF, after all).

I haven't listened to the whole album yet, but too much enthusiasm makes me suspicious: are you from Verona and also friends with them? :D
