I refer back to Geenoo's comment: the device of associating words with images can be useful for memorization if supported by examples of typical situations; the use of these bizarre connections (eye-ouch, chin-toast) might, and I emphasize might, elicit a closed-lip smile from someone who already has a decent grasp of English, while it risks being misleading and utterly unproductive for complete beginners. In fact, I would be curious to see what example is provided when it comes to translating "brindisi" (= "toast")—a group of friends toasting with a sandwich in hand? If this is the premise, I wouldn't recommend this book even to an elementary school child with a mental delay. Compared to this book, Clementoni's games become the Treccani Encyclopedia.

We Odradek, it’s been a while! I’ll tell you, I had actually considered the idea of going to Milan. But what if I ended up with another disappointment? I don’t know if I would have been able to handle it. Rather than tempting fate and the Milanese cold, I preferred to rely on the download and its "mystical" powers, while in the meantime I was chilling my ass in the water, in line with the group’s policy :)
