As characters, they really get on my nerves; their bravado is completely unwarranted. To hell with the technical skills that interest me to a certain extent, they're as pleasant as sandpaper in your underwear, and after this album (very nice), they’ve miserably rested on their laurels, producing mediocre albums, only elevated by a few hit singles (damn me for buying the original cassette of Be Here Now). Live, Liam is embarrassingly expressionless: his voice is dwindling more and more over the years, perhaps he hasn’t realized it yet, he’s as still as a statue and, what annoys me even more is that posture of his, like a herniated disc with a tambourine in the back. Despite all this, they are one of the most beloved bands in the world. A mystery.

I believe he is alive and well :-) There should be the summer tour now, you can find it at the best local festivals from Eboli to San Benedetto del Tronto. Occasionally, some episodes of his show (guess what, it's called ''W La Musica'') are still broadcast, and I believe there will be more for everyone in the winter. Unfortunately, I couldn't mention ''O Mercedes'' for reasons of ''thematic relevance'', but I acknowledge its undeniable and absolute validity.

Ahuahauhahu. Geenoo you made me emotional. I've always considered "Il Gelatino" one of the most beautiful Italian songs since the days of Modugno. With this hit, Jo Donatello really outdid himself. As they say... good blood doesn't lie :-)
