Emo is not about sweet melodies, romantic lyrics, and whiny vocals... that’s the inaccuracy of the review... and that’s why this album is NOT emo. Otherwise, any melodic rock album could be classified as emo...

Then there's the matter of three stars being a matter of taste... but it’s not the fact that you harshly criticize it that bothers me about the review; it's because I often get the impression that BFMV, just like Avenged Sevenfold and other bands followed by 14-year-olds in heat, are being :D harshly judged for not being "true" enough... I’m glad that’s not your case, but how many of those who commented and trashed this album have actually listened to it?

I'm sorry to say it, but this review is really full of inaccuracies...

First of all, let's stop confusing emo with metalcore because they are two completely different things... and anyway this album is metal... radio-friendly metal, pre-packaged, as catchy as you like, but it remains metal nonetheless...
Moreover, this album is not at all the crap you describe; it deserves at least three stars... I have the impression that BFMV are criticized just for being (unjustly) associated with "emo" rather than for their music...
