Francesco Guccini Quello Che Non...

On Anime Salve without a doubt, but also on various albums by Fossati, Battiato, and De Gregori, there are songs that are equal to or surpass Odysseus. With all the love I have for Guccini, of course.

Yes, I understand, DJ, it's the concept of "useful" that can be misunderstood. Of course, toilet paper is useful, no doubt about it; even Vanzina's movies are "useful" for passing two hours for those who go to the cinema only at Christmas, and so on. However, I suspect that, unlike toilet paper which has no contraindications, Gigidalessio might be harmful to neurons. And the media today do everything to overwhelm us with harmful things, no matter how "useful" they may be.

Aaah I come back to this page after a few days and what do I hear? That D'Alessio brings joy and happiness! But come on, this is all about volemosebbene, so should we abdicate our critical sense in the name of a misinterpreted democracy of taste? I hope that wasn’t the point. That said, Mistero may be easy and cheesy, but if it’s just a commercial gimmick, it’s (in my opinion) a dignified one. As for the current situation, alas, what can I say but that it speaks for itself? Excluding the greats who have all surpassed 50, there’s really very little happening. A handful of artists are just scraping by to release their next album, suffocated by the amorphous mass that record labels love to produce, but it’s the same mass that is forever sinking the market. Forget about illegal downloads!!!
Elton John Honky Chateau

Well, yes, it would be quite something to confuse Elton John with ABBA! It means you really have no idea of what Sir Elton has written (with the help of lyricist Bernie Taupin, let's say) and sung before a undeniably more debatable phase of his career, which might confuse younger people a bit, but which in no way can overshadow a career with few equals in pop.

A (great) piece of pop history.
Tim Burton Edward Mani di Forbice

No, it's not the best Burton ever. Great Depp, as always.

"The Floyd as we perceive them today" are the work of Waters, Gilmour, Wright, and even Mason.

"Please just fuck with me" or "please just walk with me"? Let's talk about it.
