Connecting to the Umbertino/Primiballi debate: it seems absolutely clear to me that Vasco taps into the same audience as the little people mentioned by Primiballi, namely the casual listeners, those who essentially listen to whatever is aired by commercial radio and TV. That said, I also believe that Vasco, despite all the criticisms that can be directed at his current output, is less harmful than those other people because Vasco has done good things throughout his career. The same cannot be said for all the others.

I quote Joe Cavalli. Good album. It could have been better given some questionable production choices, but it remains a collection of songs of good and sometimes excellent quality, aside from the two or three mentioned cases.

Great album, no doubt about it. It must be my faulty CD, but in "l'evo dopo il medio," I really don't hear the consoli (who, by the way, plays the acoustics here and there, not the electrics) at all. If it's there, it's so buried under the vocals that speaking of a duet seems a bit strange to me.

A truly absurd operation this second volume. The tracks taken from the live performance in '91 really don't make sense. I won’t give it a rating; it would be high for Faber’s songs but a 1 for the record operation. I really don’t know what Dori Ghezzi and Cristiano De André were thinking... if you want to make volume 2, fine, but do it in a decent and sensible way, for heaven's sake.

@bjorky: my problem (and I know it's mine) with Whoopi Goldberg isn't about being hot/not hot, come on, it's just that I find her as likable as a punch in the gums.
