Contribution to the '91 special: that year also saw the release of Blue Lines by Massive, Laughing Stock by Talk Talk, and Torture Garden by Naked City (and also Achtung Baby by U2, right!). This obviously doesn't make much sense (without irony!), regarding your preferences, Kristen, since if this Hole is the album that resonated with you the most, I respect your feelings... after all, I don't have a say in Hole because I've never listened to a whole LP, disgusted (it's a matter of taste...) by what I've heard from the singles, both in the ballads (I find Love's voice to be anything but expressive) and in the harder tracks, like violet (see above); at most, I've always been curious to hear some rougher female bands... any recommendations?
