Hi Jessy and Francesco, I've listened to 'slippery when wet' and 'new jersey' (even though it's been a few years since I stopped...). To be honest, I agree with Easy's description of those albums; it's derivative music (which isn't necessarily a bad thing...), and for me, with redundant and somewhat over-the-top arrangements, but it's all a matter of taste... That said, there was a time in my life when I liked them, and that was before I discovered so much music and so many bands that overshadowed them: to stay somewhat in the genre, I recommend 'scream dracula scream' by Rocket from the Crypt, a bit rougher but really engaging... In short, don't treat Bon Jovi (or anyone else) as gods descended to Earth, and be wary of anyone (even 'alternative') who tries to label them as such, as this is something that 'insiders' generally do for their own personal gain: in a nutshell, listen, listen, and listen, and be cautious of supposed wise men (like me in this case ;) I’m really an idiot...)
