What a record! How to find the words? The best comparison I've read for the pop group is 'mad bull', an animal that kicks around without having targeted a precise objective… shall we talk about the production, then? It really sounds like it was recorded in a cave! A few personal notes on the review: Mark's voice 'dim and intimate'? I don’t find that; folded in on itself before the explosions, yes, but always dark and, in a certain way, 'powerful', even when whispering; then I don’t think the comparisons to a tribal celebration are particularly fitting (aside from the purely percussive aspect), there's anger and venom here, nothing peaceful… my opinion, of course.
