Speaking of film critics... it seems to me almost like a Debordianly 'detourned' review of this album, that is... a review of a film semi-copied and adapted to '154', am I being too suspicious? If the hypothesis were right, it would still be a masterpiece of semi-mocking :D

AHAHAHAHA, fuck!!! I've never experienced such contrasting feelings in a matter of seconds... the review is really interesting, so much so that critics like Zingales from Blow-Up or maybe many others who deal with cinema can easily jerk you off... I didn't understand everything (fuck...) but what I caught seemed interesting; even more so is the way you treated a review of a 'popular' album... however, you really exaaaagerated for Debaser, not that it's a bunch of uneducated people, but you could have moderated the analysis instead of showing off like crazy... and in the end, the first comment (Mario's) along with the thought of the stunned faces of those who will have read this review was making me piss my pants from laughter (seriously, don't do it again, I was feeling sick :DDD)

Anyway, my favorites, besides 'mighty ship' and 'caravan of love', are 'the light is always green' and 'happy hour'...

mmm... granted that I am very attached to the compilation cassette I put together (I think I excluded a couple of tracks) from this album, I’m quite laid-back... it's one of the few examples of music I could play in the car during trips with my parents without bothering them; when I had the cassette stereo, I kept bringing it along in the car... of course, if I had had a stoner-obsessed friend, I would probably have been worried about the integrity of the stereo after the second track...

I don't think this album can be reduced to sex mania at all; on the contrary... it's a very beautiful and deep album about a relationship in crisis and/or conflict... sex is somewhat involved, but it's certainly not the center of the discussion and, therefore, it's not at all a sex-maniacal album. However, it doesn't seem to me that this is discussed in that sense in the review...

Well, in addition to the other mistakes, there's also the horror of 'affections' instead of INFECTION... pardon me!

"Your attention please / now turn off the lights / you affections please / I haven't got all night"... what a hell of a record, what hell of words... not exactly for a wanker like me, who has never known the 'monster', but my more "experienced" friends idolized him… beyond my shortcomings in life, a gripping, heart-wrenching, and devastating film like few others…
