Iron Maiden Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

I remember that in my first year of high school, most of my classmates were especially into System of a Down, Slipknot, Ska-P, and similar bands. They were the most popular groups, with whom they formed the closest bonds. There was also a girl (the only metalhead in the class, whom I was hopelessly in love with) who listened to Iron Maiden, of course. The older kids (or even peers from other sections) often sported metal t-shirts featuring the usual classic bands: Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Death... Initially, these names didn't appeal to me at all; they had no effect on me. To me, they were just logos and nothing more. Everyone listened to them, everyone was a fan and knowledgeable, while I couldn’t connect with those bands, except in a completely forced way dictated by the external environment. My love for metal came a bit later than the others, and in completely different forms. I remember well when I first listened to Fear Factory and Napalm Death, and just a few months later, I came into direct contact with Scandinavian death and black metal. Opeth, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Mayhem, Darkthrone... All bands that no one cared about in high school, and yet they were all bands that I somehow felt were mine. With good wishes to all those who wore Killers t-shirts to school :)

The Isis, mamma mia... it's been an era now. 10-15 years ago, their name was everywhere (along with Neurosis, Converge, Mastodon, and Dillinger Escape Plan, it was non-stop). The only ones from the old guard that still hold strong in the end are Cult of Luna; the others have either disbanded or disappeared from the scene. It's worth mentioning that there are still bands that recreate these sounds, first among them Amenra. And Morne are no joke either.

Modification to the review: "ottica" with two "t"s, not three. I accidentally included one too many. See the old version Revelations of the Red Sword - Svartidauði - recensione Versione 1

I believe it's stuff that suits me. Are they by any chance similar to the Shining?

Eh... a record I remember listening to a long time ago, but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me (unlike "Beaucoup Fish"). I should revisit it.

The first time I saw the video for "Smack My Bitch Up," I was around 12 years old. I remember thinking, "What the hell is happening in this video?"
I definitely preferred the videos for "Where's Your Head At?" by Basement Jaxx and "Starlight" by Supermen Lovers :))

Reading the review, a thought arose (which has nothing to do with Lene): what would happen if, in a parallel universe, at this very moment, Scaruffi gave a 9.5/10 to Aqua and 7/10 to Captain Beefheart?
Maybe this universe exists, a universe where "only 2000 people bought the debut of Aqua, and all ended up forming a band."

But has it already come out in theaters?

The world is beautiful because it's diverse. Lana Del Rey captivated me right from the start (said by someone who doesn't love pop music, even though for me she transcends the genre).
