Napalm Death Scum
Voto:
True grindcore comes from the extremization of hardcore, both musically and thematically, and the first to do it were Napalm Death. Repulsion had many death elements and a more horror-oriented attitude, which would influence the brutal and gore bands, so even though "Horrified" was released in 1986, the pillar of the purest and truest grind remains Scum from '87.

Amazing album and band, a review I fully agree with. I've always liked grindcore for its ability to represent the chaos of life and society. A genre that's often overlooked, it is much more intelligent than it appears.

Oh, I almost forgot, I heard this, the first 2 tracks are nice and the next 3 aren't bad, the others just annoy the hell out of me as usual :D

Dream Theater are one of those bands that put me in a coma after about 30 minutes of listening. Anyway, great review, complete, not too long and ABOVE ALL not from a fan.

This CD really made me shit myself. Apart from the first track "The Glass Prison," the rest gave me diarrhea. Damn, I just had it a couple of weeks ago for days :D
