I'm not a fan of the genre, but I find this album exceptional, along with the following one "La Morte dei miracoli"...

Masterpiece. 9/10. My favorites remain "river euphrates" and the frenetic "Vamos".

Anyway, it seems to me that the beginning of the end for Grignani was "Destinazione Paradiso," or at least one of those songs I heard from the "no-return period": a real piece of crap, I remember...

3.5. Too bad it ended up ruined...

@Gustavo Tanz: I know him, he's a good little disk, nothing extraordinary, but a good little disk. He still remains an integral part of the "Braccia" trio, only he joined the others a bit later, and he made a decent album or two. And anyway, even in the "Fabbrica di Plastica" there was only sky, with a truly ridiculous populist rockstar lyric like Vasco's ("they wanted to sell me a basement in the sky. But I didn't buy the afterlife"), sure, the music was good, and it promised well too. Promises not kept though... It just came to my mind that maybe the third step of the podium is much more deserved by Jovanotti!:-)

Superficial music, whatever album he's made (that I've listened to). It wouldn't hurt him to learn the Italian language: "I want a reckless life, I want a life like in the movies, I want an exaggerated life, I want a life like Steve McQueen." Aside from the fact that poor McQueen is turning in his grave, that the lyrics are of a banality fit for the brainless, and that he's a rough, ignorant provincial peasant, I add that along with Grignani and Ligabue, he is part of the trio "Arms stolen from agriculture." Sexist, superficial, fake-philosopher, fake-deep, populist and demagogue: this and much more is Vasco Rossi. Music for the ignorant, music for the stadiums of the little people who live on "love, sex, and danger." As deep as a puddle.

Well, certainly his is a provocation, an affront. With a touch of irreverent arrogance, after all, he wants to tell us that "he understood how things would go ten years ago." And he wasn't wrong... And anyway, it's always better to have a remake of Funny Games than yet another The Ring 3 (which they’re probably already working on) with the usual annoying little girl who never cuts her hair :-)

This, along with the next two works, remains one of the best episodes of Amos. In any case, I've never liked her too much, despite the beautiful voice and lovely melodies; in the long run, it ends up being too repetitive, whiny, and soporific for my tastes. 7/10
