Secondly, Eminem, at least in his genre and only in his early albums, has all my respect: read the lyrics, then you'll tell me. Anyway, it's a matter of tastes, but you can't so grossly condemn artists like that without even knowing what you're talking about.

You condemn the groups that are popular with young people today and that sell a lot, and I agree with you on that, but Chicago was one of the most successful bands of the 80s, with songs like "Hard to Say I'm Sorry," which had enormous success and can be found on every respectable 80s compilation... They were commercial, often sentimental, although they were definitely better than Toto & Co. The talented and skilled Chicago were those from before the 80s, even if after the first half of the seventies they began to ruin themselves with their own hands.

Great album, great pop, great Al Stewart: "Year of the Cat," "Lord Greenville," "If It Doesn't Come Naturally, Leave It," and Broadway Hotel (with its melancholic and heartbreaking violin solo) above all.

Well, I find their mascot much more likable than those of other groups, which are often much sillier and poorly designed: just look at that of the Maiden. Anyway, yes, they’ve had a lot of bad luck, which is a shame because their music is good: the same fate has befallen the Angel Witch...
