Well... in my opinion, it’s a good movie, it doesn't have too many pretenses and it doesn't try too hard to make you laugh your head off, but maybe just smile... and then the Disco Boys are too rockin' (see Furios: is that your power? the guns? and they start laughing... it doesn’t make sense!) XD

frankly, I consider it a bunch of crap, but it's known that judgment is subjective. Radcliffe-doormat never lets us down (dumbass face). Nice one!

That The Rock is not very expressive is something even the stones know, but still better than Radcliffe-facial paralysis.... @gnoato: I saw Eragon, I even reviewed it, it's an inhuman piece of crap. But now everyone knows that....

@ Rorix: I understand at 11 years old, but now he’s probably in his twenties and has the same expressiveness as a dying badger. A highly paid actor should at least know how to make a grimace, I say.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. The movie was cute, but Radcliffe is as expressive as a dead groundhog, so I hate him. Nice review.

I know Sennar, I just said that Tolkien made a great contribution. That's it! ;)

OK, I gladly accept the 2nd and 3rd of April... after all, it's not a stunning review. Nice one!

I had compared it in a forum to: "the Bible of fantasy" (see Debaser forum). Anyway, I agree with you: Tolkien didn't just create a story, but an entire world so realistic that it could almost be touched. Paolini was inspired by Tolkien (according to him), but from Eldest (the second book) onward, he adopted a Harry Potter-style tactic that I didn't really appreciate. Instead of focusing on the story, like in Eragon, he focused entirely on Eragon's personal growth. In my opinion, he could have done better, but maybe it's just my impression.
