Take That Everything Changes

I've tried to run away from home to go to Manchester (and I got caught). The day after the breakup, I didn't go to school because I had spent the night crying. I have 2 boxes full of their stuff, all their original CDs and all the VHS tapes, even the originals. I learned English at 11 by translating everything from "TT & Party" and "Everything Changes". I thought about going on some quiz show like Telemike answering questions about them, as I was so sure I would win (but I didn't because I was a minor). In my room, their posters went from the baseboard to the ceiling on all four walls, including the door (and one is still there, I've never taken it down). If I count how much money I spent on them, I think I could buy a car. I cried when I found out Gaz was getting married. I dedicated a total of 3 years of my life to them, then they evaporated. I have the original CDs from Gaz; the one that never came out in Italy I bought on eBay from a German girl (it was my first purchase). I have the original ā€œGreen Manā€ by Markie. I went to England to buy the last album, and I didn't take it when I finally had it in my hands at Virgin in Piccadilly because I discovered it was the same old stuff with just one measly unreleased track. I’m registered on their official forum. And much more. Is that enough for you to understand what kind of fan I was and still am? This review was written with the clarity of a twenty-four-year-old who spent the best years with them, but then you grow up and see things with more detachment. Ah, I almost forgot, an album of unreleased tracks is supposed to come out in September, and with it, I will start praying for them to return for a concert in Italy. I will be there waiting for them as if 10 years have never passed.
AA.VV. The Very Best Of Mtv Unplugged vol 1

You're talking about "Bury the hatchet", look, that’s still listenable compared to the mess that is "Wake up and smell the coffee," which is pretty awful except for "Analyse." I recommend you reevaluate "To the faithful departed," almost a concept album about the ugliness of man like violence, war, and drugs. Twilight-like and painful, the proceeds went to War Child, for the Yugoslav children.

Yes, dune, now dolores performs duets with zucchero (and it hurts). "Stars" was their farewell to the stage (and they couldn't have had a worse idea, poor glorious Cran).

all absolutely sacred dune buggy, I fully support you and propose a petition for Britney's unplugged! But of course, I would have been sad not to see/hear REM or the Cranberries because I'm here and they are across the ocean. Not all bad things come to harm, right?

No calm down. I meant the massification and globalization of Unplugged, intended no longer as a unique event reserved for those present but as a "public" set that is often recorded and therefore replayable. I'm not criticizing, I'm observing reality. If it hadn't been for MTV, I wouldn't have known Rammstein and the White Stripes, but do we want to talk about Britney.....? Better not.
Samuele Bersani L'Aldiqua

I like Bersani, but at the same time I hate him because he makes me feel like an idiot since I don't understand him. And I hate those who act all intellectual and make everyone else feel like little shits. Nice review, I'm not voting for the album.
Elisa Asile's World

You can't just say how strange, difficult, and hermetic the album is, and then give it 5 stars? Either you made a mistake or you're a genius who makes nonsense and hermeticism their bread and therefore understands it all. I’m just an ordinary person, and although I really like Elisa, I only genuinely appreciated her in her first album when she was semi-unknown. Then she did what I can't stand in many: she wanted to remain alternative while conforming (see Sanremo), and so we got albums with the majors but written with little effort (in fact, "Then comes the sun" or "Lotus" aren’t any better than this). I don’t understand her anymore and consequently appreciate her much less. Nevertheless, live she remains spectacular; if she were less of the introspective intellectual, she’d be much better, like our own Janis Joplin.

I’m sorry, I consider myself immune to these low forms of provocation. If you like to imagine me as a full-time blowjob queen, go ahead; it doesn't affect me in the slightest. I consider myself smart enough, I hope to be.
