Their ska just can't get out of the live pubs and beer festivals. I fully agree with you, but if you notice, in this and in my other review on the Negramaro, I’ve said pretty much what you said. UNFORTUNATELY, AMONG THOSE WHO PRAISE THEM, THERE ARE MANY WHO USED TO SPIT ON THEM OR SNOB THEM, AND NOW THEY DECLARE THEMSELVES HUGE FANS. IN SALENTO, THE NEGRAMARO HAVE TRANSCENDED THE MUSICAL SPHERE TO BECOME "SYMBOLS," AND I AIMED TO CRITICIZE THIS ATTITUDE, ESPECIALLY BY THE ADMINISTRATORS WHO NOW REWARD AND PRAISE THEM WHEN JUST A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, THEY WERE DENYING PERMISSION FOR CONCERTS (JUST TO GIVE ONE EXAMPLE). THEN, I’VE SAID AND REPEATED IT MANY TIMES, I AGREE ON "DE GUSTIBUS," BUT IT BOTHERS ME THAT SOMETHING IS JUDGED AS CRAP JUST BECAUSE IT'S POPULAR.
