Jethro Tull Catfish Rising
Voto:
I average a three to bring it down to 2.5... the same rating I gave to "Under Wraps" (even though this record seems just a notch below the infamous album from '84!)

Very nice "This Is Not Love" and "White Innocence". Also pleasant are "Rocks On The Road" and "Occasional Demons"... the rest convinces me less: in my opinion, it’s the worst of Tull. A somewhat unsuccessful mix between the two previous albums, with a slight attempt to resume the style of "This Was". However, you can still see the class of J.T.: from the Catfish Rising tour, the excellent concert "A Little Light Music" was released.

It's clearly a fake (or someone with serious issues?). Just take a look at their shiny new duplicate on the maiden! One more wrong move and I'll add you to the list immediately.

I just found the second part, namely "As Your Mind Flies"... what can I say? Spectacular! "What You Want To Know" has already become one of my favorite songs... I've listened to it 10 times in a row! Congratulations on this find - great review. The rating for the album is obviously just for the second part... but if the first one is like this too, then it will definitely be 5, always and anyway!
David Bowie Hunky Dory
Voto:
Everything is great! "Hunky Dory" is a fantastic album and deserves credit for projecting him into the glam world... the two hits "Life On Mars?" and "Changes" are amazing (and everything else is still at an excellent level). Nevertheless, even if I definitely prefer "Ziggy Stardust" and "Diamond Dogs," I can't give it less than 5!

Certainly a good album, even if it's still a bit immature (but it hints at very good things... like the masterpiece "Song For America"). Despite everything, there is the wonderful "Death Of Mother Nature Suite," which is definitely worth the purchase of the album.

To tell the truth, it's number 5!

I almost forgot the rating for the album, which is obviously...
