Really an excellent page, truly rich in information... no one can take the highest rating away from you. As for the album: given the comments as well as the review itself, I think I’ll pass!
Saga Steel Umbrellas

In my opinion, it’s an utterly lackluster album: few ideas, few virtuosos, little of everything... it almost feels like a "Wildest Dreams" part two. Unfortunately, it comes out shortly after one of the best from Saga ("The Security Of Illusion"), which further penalizes it.

The return of the full line-up surely benefits the band's inspiration, which brings out one of its best albums (rating 'debaserian': 4 stars and 1/2), after a couple of misfires. The more guitar-oriented sound is definitely spot on, to the point that the album, in this respect, seems almost related to the contemporary "Counterparts" by Rush… just to say that in those years, in Canada, there was 'good air' to breathe. - "Mind Over Matter," "Once Is Never Enough," and "Stand Up" stand out in the Saga discography!

I'm listening to something on YouTube right now: not bad, really not bad. I'm thinking about it. - Great page, Fede... these hidden gems are definitely needed every now and then!

No problem! In fact, I'm quite sorry that certain reviews have so few comments... As for Saga's discography: let's just say I know them very well up until "The Security Of Illusion" (so the next one you'll review, I suppose). My knowledge of their subsequent period is only fragmented - Moving on to their latest "The Human Condition," I can tell you it’s a pleasant album... but far from being a masterpiece. The (almost) instrumental title track is outstanding. Then there are a couple of really interesting tracks, one of which even has vague reminiscences of Gentle Giant. The rest is average. Rob Moratti's voice doesn't seem special to me: in my opinion, they should have/could have chosen better.

Very interesting... I'll listen to it as soon as I get the chance. Maybe I'll pop over to YouTube to catch a few previews.

Great page, as always. The album, on a medium level, is roughly on par with the previous "Wildest Dream"... however, I give it an extra point, reaching three stars, because of the gorgeous "Giant" and "Shape". "How Do I Look" isn't bad either.

Maximum rating for this movie!
Neil Young Le Noise

Great recommendation! I listened on YouTube (NeilYoungChannel) to some of the tracks from his new album... simply wonderful! I'm really curious to hear the rest. "Fork In The Road" had disappointed me too: this seems to fully redeem Neil's well-deserved fame.
Phil Collins No Jacket Required
Voto:
A pop disc without too many pretensions, but quite enjoyable. Some songs are well made ("Take Me Home," for example... or also "Inside Out" and "Long Long Way To Go"). Personally, I would say that three stars are fully warranted. - I used to like Collins as a solo artist more. Listening to his first three albums lately... I would say they have faded a bit for me.
