Camel Moonmadness

Vincolla and Old King, how well I understand you!!! My first album was Black Moon by Emerson, Lake & Palmer: I bought it as an original vinyl when it just came out in '92. Since then, I have continually expanded my musical horizons. I've also tried to broaden the tastes of my peers... but with little success (I only managed to "convert" a couple of them)! The main problem, in my opinion, is that many (almost everyone) believe in the "equations" beautiful=catchy or beautiful=danceable... but it's not true; in fact, it's often quite the opposite!!!!

The review is well done aside from a couple of minor errors (after "Tres Hombres" it should be "Fandango" and not "Tejas"; the title of the 5th song is "Beer Drinkers & Hell RAISERS"). -- As for the album, I also think it's one of the peaks of this great band. -- A question... do you have the 80s CD version (with the "Sixpack" mix... that is, with added electronic echoes and reverberations) or the remastered version from this year (with the clean and original LP mix)?

Complete and timely review as always! I don't have this album: I only have "Mirage" by Camel. Is this one better or worse in your opinion?
Dream Theater Dark Side Of The Dream

I just listened to it and it’s not that bad... The instrumental parts are done quite well, and even the voice (although it’s quite different from Gilmour's) is not so bad after all. The best song, in my opinion, is "Any Colour You Like": the only track where Dream Theater, instead of playing it exactly, put a bit of soul into it (enhancing the guitar part). As for the review... there are many statements, some of which are agreeable, others less so... but not much is said about the album itself.

I wrote it wrong... I meant to say that I was quoting your words. Sorry...

I completely agree with Luca-LJ's first comment.... The prologue is presumptuous and cocky. Max 2 for this definitely unhelpful review... The album, on the other hand, speaks for itself.
Genesis And Then There Were Three...

One of the last acceptable albums by Genesis (along with the following "Duke"). Nice review... anyway, the title of the album is "And then THERE were three"!

If you have the reputation of a jerk, it's certainly not something others have created for you, but something you have made for yourself. If you had acted normally with NON-COPIED reviews and avoided having 2000 different identities, maybe you wouldn't be mocked and insulted by everyone right now. Don't you think?
