It was my first purchase too! My father bought it for me on LP when it was just released... back then I didn’t have a CD player yet because it was too expensive! I thank my father for "initiating" me into good music...
Ligabue Lambrusco, coltelli, rose & popcorn

Liga, like Vasco, has produced tons of crap. Here it might be at its peak. But its peak certainly doesn't reach adequacy.
Journey Trial By Fire

Great band! I love AOR/80s sounds... unfortunately, I don't own this album. I'll take care of it!

Truly excellent... both the review and the album!
Pink Floyd The Dark Side of The Moon

Not even I, Beatboy... a warm thank you to the staff for not putting it on the homepage. 14 lines of pure delirium! If only there were more "antiquated" and "hippie" groups like this today (to quote your words) - "without him [Syd] the band ceased to exist"? So why did you give a 1 to The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn? Your crusade against Pink Floyd seems like nothing more than a reckless attempt to gain audience (no different than reality TV and trash television... the same mechanism). However, attacking a band that has rightfully entered history is totally absurd. In conclusion: giving a 1 to Dark Side... I would really be curious to know what your favorite albums are...
Michael Jackson Thriller

A very enjoyable album to listen to, along with the subsequent "Bad" and "Dangerous." Then came total silence. In the '80s, he was the king of pop; in the '90s, he became the king of gossip-scandal. Now, apart from a few extravagant news items, like dressing in a woman’s veil, he has turned into the king of nothingness. A man who symbolizes self-destruction, both physical and, above all, psychological. It's undeniable that he was a great in his time. Excellent review.

Yet another (but excellent) review of the debut album by Pink Floyd... a landmark record!
Simple Minds Reel to Real Cacophony
Voto:
I really like the album... experimental just enough. Great review!

You're right, Sannyman, maybe confining them to (light) prog rock is a bit too limiting... I gave a somewhat superficial judgment. In fact, there are many different influences. Also, that news about the pomp is making me reflect: listening to the album "Power" (from '86) again, I really think it's true.
