For being from 1970, this album is really ahead of its time, although after a while it becomes heavy to listen to... great review anyway.

The review is well written, the point is that it assumes from the start that whoever reads it is familiar with the reviewed album. Sure, for someone who has never listened to prog, diving into something like The Lamb isn’t advisable, so you would review that with all the erudition you want, since the reader will surely already know who Genesis are. The point is that Foxtrot is a more accessible album that could serve as a sort of "gateway" into the world of progressive... So perhaps it would be better, when reviewing it, not to take too much for granted. Because within this review (certainly the most detailed and precise among the four of Foxtrot), someone wanting to get to know Genesis doesn’t understand anything at all... and that’s not good, I think.

The review isn't that bad, the point is that it doesn't add anything to the other three dedicated to this album. Oh, and theJOKES, it's really sad to upvote your own reviews, especially with 5s. There's little to be smug about; the fact is that if there are already many reviews for an album, it's not worth writing another unless you have something new to say...

Light music???? Call it whatever you want, but not light music! Great album, no doubt, but there’s still a long way to go before it reaches the masterpieces of its English "colleagues," in my opinion.

Beautiful review, sentimental just enough for an album that truly sinks its wonderful songs in feeling. The first time I heard Hallelujah I cried; I believe it is the best interpretation existing. Congratulations.

Ah! The old Rutherford! I don't own this CD, but the review is really well done. Damn, how many things have changed on Debaser since my internet went out two months ago... you make me feel like an old geezer who can't keep up with the times!!!!! A nice review on Van Der Graaf Generator will get me back on track...

If something isn't danceable, then is it ugly? But how can that be...
Prog and dance are two opposing things to each other.
