Not bad, but in my opinion, Genesis should have swapped The fountain... and The musical box; the former has a more convincing beginning, while the latter has the best ending that has ever crossed the mind of a rock band.

Yes, that’s absolutely right. De Andrè and a few others keep the Italian flag flying high in music, and this album, which also features Mauro Pagani, is a true masterpiece.

Supper's Ready is the most beautiful song ever written: the lyrics are spot-on like never before, the musical sections are simple, for the most part, but never predictable, THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE VARIOUS PARTS PERFECT, as always with Genesis...and the melodies! Tell me, you who have more years behind you than I do and know these geniuses of 70s prog better, tell me if there exists a more beautiful melody than that "flute-like" one that introduces "Apocalypse in 9/8"...I want answers!!
