Immense Gang..Marino has always been completely consistent with himself and with those who have always followed him. The Gang have managed to import that message of hope and struggle that the Clash's songs have represented..it was necessary for them to make the leap to singing in Italian, too many things to say and shout in this deaf land.

Great suggestion, Fedezan.. with this album, I've reevaluated him.. along with Neil Peart, he remains one of my favorites.. of course, I'm talking about those who are still alive..

Indeed, there was much to say, but I preferred to focus on the individuals, especially on Hughes, whom I greatly admire as an artist and as a man who, after years of addiction to alcohol and drugs, managed to rediscover the joy of playing and contributing enormously to music, in addition to appreciating a normal family life with his wife and dogs. Every man, even the most notorious rockers, needs solid foundations to rebuild from, certainties... it might sound like a sermon, but I believe that the human aspect fits perfectly with art. I also add that the album was recorded in just four days, which is rare in recording; perhaps one remembers a similar episode with the first Led Zeppelin album, and I like to think that between these four musicians a unique empathy was created, a desire to communicate and participate that should be the fundamental element guiding any band, whether in a garage or in a huge arena. This album is the rebirth of music and testifies to the great power of music.

Well done, Superboia... I prefer going to concerts alone, so I can respect rules 1 and 2.. in the car, I actually had vintage Rush, stuff like "2112".. and that says it all... and anyway, derivatives or not, as you wrote, I BM really pack a punch.

After seeing them in Ravenna, I reassessed them for their consistency as musicians and as simple, clear individuals. Listening to the album again, I increasingly appreciate it; initially, I thought it was lesser compared to "In the future," which seems more progressive and almost pompous in its grandiosity. Here, the songs flow by with such pleasure and with never obvious solutions.. so Superboia, you're right.. we're well above 3.5 ;))

Seen at Bronson in Ravenna with two opening acts that were really quite good (Goldheart Assembly and The Night Terrors). They are honest to an unbelievable degree, without the usual pretensions, vices, and whims of capricious rockstars. A few light smiles that Amber Webber managed to offer (between her teeth), described by my neighbor as "figa lessa." I personally prayed inside that they wouldn’t play "Bright Light" because… really... it’s exhausting on the record, let alone live. Anyway, great band and great sounds.

A true cult film alongside Milano Calibro 9... I can imagine Tarantino's adoration for works of this kind that, only in our country, have never received the attention they deserve. Speaking of stories and beliefs, in the same vein is "La casa dalle finestre che ridono" by Pupi Avati, a stunning example of how popular beliefs can instill fear.

Despite not being able to stand Guglielmi, I keep reading Mucchio for good old Max Stefani.. all in all, the rest isn’t too bad, really.. compared to "trendy" magazines like XL and Rockstar.. Rumore, on the other hand, seems a bit too niche..
