Thank you for reviewing a fantastic album that does justice to this great band, which has come down to the present day with a personality and dignity that deserves great respect and devotion.

Maybe if you signed it too... instead of shooting in the dark...
System of a Down Mezmerize

I've had the album for a week and you can imagine how it is... Not being a fanatic of extreme metal, I approached the System by listening to the more melodic tracks from Toxicity. This new one doesn't disappoint, it's well played and you can tell they're aiming for different goals. Sometimes they remind me of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but in the long run, you can also do without it if you're not 18 and you don't like to mosh on Saturday nights at Velvet in Rimini.

Great North, you beat me to it on timing. I've been thinking for days about writing a review for this album. Personally, I don't know the third one, often described as their masterpiece that embraces pure psychedelia. When I first put on Chairs Missing, I was literally taken aback not only by the unpredictability of the harmonic solutions but also by the creative use that Wire makes of the instruments themselves; the guitars sound like sharp razors and the early synthesizers are inserted at just the right moments, in "Marooned" they give that touch of sacredness that dark groups will later overuse in the years to come, and in "Another the Letter" they almost sound like Devo. Two different approaches that our band masters expertly.
With each listen, this album has won me over, and I have the impression that it still feels incredibly relevant because it managed to push into unimaginable territories today, considering the overwhelming power of record labels that now impose styles and paths even on the most untouchable.
But that "cockney" accent is truly unbearable. I also wanted to ask you if "French Film Blurred" strongly reminds you of Syd Barrett, with that skewed and unsettling pop.

Guys, I don't think it's appropriate to pile on TheClash; I think it was very gracious of him to apologize. It doesn't seem wise to be presumptuous; I wish TheClash would learn from his mistakes and start writing something that comes from within, writing from the gut, so to speak. Some albums go straight to the heart and speak to us in different ways; for example, when I hear Iggy Pop, it hits me hard, but not because I’m gay or anything, but because I imagine that if I were to have sex with a song like Real Wild Child, I would have doubled my performance. Or The Same Deep Water As You by The Cure reminds me of rainy days, with me stuck at home in a whirlwind of my thoughts, always crowded, and a feeling of serenity, abandonment, but also longing for the things left behind...
Ligabue Giro D'Italia

Right in the April issue of Mucchio I read: "The triple live Giro d'Italia, released in late 2003 in a limited edition (price, around 36 euros), is back in stores and was almost immediately sold out. A year later, Wea re-released it identical to the original. By doing so, they deceived those who bought the first edition thinking it was something exclusive, and they pocket another 36 euros from those who buy the record today. Changing the packaging would have been a sign of respect for the buyers of the first print, just as charging a lower price (and without a limited edition) would have been. Instead, at least another 60,000 copies hit the market, just in time to boost sales for the end of 2004." MEDITATE PEOPLE, MEDITATE and then they say that those who master music kill it; they don't mention how record labels and politicians, with that disproportionate VAT, are depriving us of one of life's few pleasures after girls, good wine, and spring evenings. I might not want to be in Liga's shoes, the one with the most fans in Italy, who sells tons of records and is a slave to these shameless merchants... or maybe he doesn't care at all. I don't know who to believe anymore.

I’m also convinced that, fundamentally, Liga did a good job. It’s like when you pull out old things, the old diaries hidden in boxes in the basement, and they appear to you in a different light. You read them with pleasure, things you’ve read and reread but had forgotten and relegated to a drawer in your memory. Even though Liga has now become untouchable, I have never stopped caring for him, feeling him a bit close to my world, as tacky as some write, but with a sincerity and a fundamental honesty that transcends everything else.

Great review, it almost seems like you were well compensated for it. Even though it was long, I enjoyed reading it and it made me want to buy this DVD even more, oh well, to hell with the crisis and the miserable 1000 euros of salary I got today. But they deserve it, yes, they really do... :)))

Simplistic review, my ten-year-old niece writes better. Don't take it personally...
I would recommend to everyone the beautiful biography written by the talented Eddy Cilia found in Mucchio Extra with a radiant cover featuring Page and Plant.
