Whitesnake Come An' Get It
Voto:
For me, it's on the same level as the previous one, gritty, great band! Huge shoutout to Ian Paice and Jon Lord.
Green Day Awesome As F**k

Well, I could never stand them... The only album of theirs that's perhaps worth noting is Dookie.
Van Der Graaf Generator Aerosol Grey Machine

Very beautiful, different from the immediately following albums, but fascinating. "Afterwars" and "Necromancer" are the peaks, along with "Octopus." But within four months, VDGG will almost completely change their style and depth, and the difference will be remarkable!
Scorpions Lonesome Crow
Voto:
It's an album that has always fascinated me, precisely because it is different from the band's later style, but not any less interesting: very post-psychedelic and Sabbath-like, played well and with personality.

Beautiful but somewhat imprecise review; essential album, every track is truly great, not to mention the final suite with orchestra (much more successful than the concerto for group and orchestra by Deep Purple). The riff and wah wah solos of "Time To Live" always get me excited when I listen!!
Mikael Hafstrom Il Rito

I agree, the film isn't flawless and doesn't bring anything new to the "exorcism" genre. However, I really enjoyed (as usual) Hopkins' performance, a great actor, which partially justifies the money spent on the ticket (and it's not a small amount these days).
Van der Graaf Generator A Grounding In Numbers

Little note: the album was released on March 14th, not the 16th (in the UK), since the first digits of pi are 3.14 :)

I can't wait to listen to it! Good review, maybe a bit too long, but it was written with a lot of engagement.
Scorpions Crazy World

@ hjhhjij: I can't completely disagree with you, the classics from Scorpions (like Virgin Killer) are unbeatable. The 5 stars are a bit inflated (if I could, I would give it 4.5) but certain albums that we feel a special connection to somehow "skew" our judgment, and especially with the Scorps, my objectivity tends to go out the window :)
Ten Years After A Space In Time
Voto:
It's the only one I know by Ten Years After: it's truly remarkable, a very personal sound, with Alvin Lee always prominent on guitar and vocals, some magical tracks and others more energetic... A fantastic album and, as always, a great review :)
