I agree with amen. If the music is good, why discard it just because it’s played 8 hours a day on MTV or because many people listen to it?? Let’s not overthink it; if we like an album, let’s not dismiss it just because it’s commercial... after all, what do you expect from someone who has to make a living selling records?? Anyway, this album is really beautiful; sure, it won’t bring any big innovations to music, but all the songs are enjoyable, and the choruses are easy to learn... I like it a lot! Sorry for the messy message, but writing isn’t my strong suit... bye!

I can't stand her... there's no way around it, I just can't get along with this woman... my sister plays her 24/7 and I just can't appreciate her music at all. She probably makes quality music, she must have a captivating voice... but I don't find sounds that resonate with me. Okay, a somewhat unnecessary comment, but I just felt like sharing my thoughts! I’m the first of the anonymous… enough with the self-celebrations!! I’ve listened to over 100 albums, including all the Peppers. For sure, BSSM is the best, then Mother's Milk, then Californication and Freaky Styley… and I agree that the latter really sucks and is tailored for the average listener… just one thing: it’s not true that the Red Hot are finished. Personally, I believe a lot in them, especially after going to their concert just over a month ago. Frusciante still plays great, Flea, don’t even get me started, and Kiedis, when he wants, can be perfectly in tune… it was a fantastic concert… one last critique though… don’t always attack everyone, accept criticism and learn from it… the divinity of the 7 notes would understand…

a great album! nothing exceptional and after the first listen I was about to go throw up... but after listening to it again properly I changed my mind, it's a good rock album! and you can definitely feel Grohl's touch (is it spelled like this??).. anyway, a well-deserved 4!
